About Me.

I am a Montreal-based ceramic artist who investigates the nature of clay to create a body of work that still holds dear the traditional vessel’s form.

I mainly use the organic coiling technique to construct my pieces, adding oxides, glazes, etching, and painting to the surface, creating a composition which enhances the textural contrast between the clay body and the smooth glazes. I respond to the clay’s texture and the chance results which are sometimes part of ceramics art.

Born in Israel, I received my bachelor’s degrees in fine arts and ceramics from Concordia University. Listed below you can find the many group shows and solo exhibitions I have held.
